Developing the income criteria for family-based residence permits
Abstract
This policy brief presents the key findings of the project “Development options for the income requirement for residence in Finland and their impacts.” The development options focus in particular on the income thresholds for residence permits granted on the basis of family ties, as well as alternative methods for assessing whether the income requirement is met. The income thresholds are important for Finland’s attractiveness as a destination country. (AI translation)
