Abstract

The study examines the key policy measures that promote productivity growth. According to the research, funding for research and development should be allocated thoughtfully, but not in an “orchestrated” manner. If implemented correctly, the green transition can also act as a driver of productivity growth. Digitalization increases labor productivity only in firms that have sufficiently well-educated employees. Productivity growth can also be promoted by expanding higher education opportunities and increasing labor-based immigration. (AI translation)
