The finnish wage bargaining system under consideration

Abstract

This final report presents the summaries of individual studies produced within the project, Rules of the game in the labour market: Industrial relations, the bargaining system and income policies in the 2000s, which has been carried out jointly by ETLA, The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy, and Labour Institute for Economic Research in 2001-04 with financing by the Finnish Work Environment Fund. In addition, the report presents a concluding evaluation by the coordinators of the project of the future evolution and the necessary steps in the reform of the Finnish wage bargaining system.
