Doctoral Researcher Position in Economics at Labore
Labour Institute for Economic Research LABORE is looking for a doctoral student in economics for a 4-year researcher position. Applications are due by 13 September 2026.
The Position
The position is part of Labore’s Research Path, the purpose of which is to promote researcher training in economics by offering funding, supervision, and research infrastructure for completing doctoral studies and thesis.
In addition to the duties of a doctoral researcher, the person selected for the position is required to spend part of their working time (max. 50%) on tasks related to the projects of Labore’s research group in macroeconomics, forecasts, and industrial organization.
Requirements
Successful candidates are required to hold a doctoral student position in economics at a university and receive supervision from a named faculty member.
Priority Candidates
Priority is given to persons who
- have successfully completed the core courses of doctoral studies
- are interested in applied research in macroeconomics
The selection will be based, e.g., on recommendations, study performance, and the topic of the thesis.
