Abstract

Researcher Petri Böckerman the Labour Institute for Economic Research has conducted a study on what happened in Finland’s labor markets from 1990 to 1995. He has examined how the creation and destruction of jobs (the so-called gross flows in the labor market) have affected different groups of employees based on their education and work experience. The results provide detailed information about the adjustment of labor input at the firm level.
